ALL DTH drill tubes are friction welded, and usually the threads are standard API connections, like 2 3/8" API REG thread, 3 1/2" API REG thread or API IF thread, etc. According to customers request, from 1000mm to 5000mm length of tubes, O.D we can offer 50mm, 60mm, 76mm, 89mm,102mm,127mm,140mm.
1. Threaded connection of DTH drill rod has been processed by nitrogen treatment to improve the surface hardness and wear resistance of thread.
2. Use R780 as material of DTH drill rod to improve wear resistance and strength.
3. Adopt the upsetting treatment to reduce the weight of the DTH drill pipe while keep the strength of welding connection(Wall thickness is 6.6mm and welding connection thickness is 8.5mm)

Water well external flat drill pipes are primarily adapted to the needs of down-the-hole hammer impact rotary (including hydraulic and gas) drilling. They feature high rigidity, good sealing, and an external flat structure, offering advantages such as low torque and low resistance during rotation. The pipe body material is selected from materials produced by major steel mills, making it less prone to fatigue bending and ensuring stable and reliable performance. The pipe ends are thickened through medium-frequency heating and high-tonnage hydraulic forging to increase the welding area, ensuring drill pipe stability. Friction welding is followed by weld tempering to guarantee weld strength and improve drill pipe performance.
