ProDrill™ high Anchor Drill Bit R17-28 , in coal mine support operations, R17-28mm drill bits are mainly used for anchor drilling, and must meet the requirements of high strength, wear resistance, and adaptability to hard rock formations.

Diameter range: 17-28mm (R17-28mm)
Features: Four-blade symmetrical design, high rock breaking efficiency, suitable for medium-hard rock formations (such as sandstone and shale).
Material: Alloy steel (such as 42CrMo) with carbide teeth (YG8/YG11C).
2. Precautions for use
1. Matching the drill rig: Make sure the drill bit connection method (thread/cone) is compatible with the drill tail of the drill rig.
2. Rock formation adaptation:
Soft rock: Use a cross drill bit to increase the drilling speed.
Hard rock: Prefer a ball-tooth drill bit to reduce wear.
3. Cooling and slag removal:
Use high-pressure air or water mist cooling to avoid overheating of the drill bit.
Clean the rock powder in the hole regularly to prevent the drill from getting stuck.
4. Life management:
A single grinding can extend the life by 30%, but the number of grindings is ≤3 times.
Replace it in time when it is severely worn to avoid drilling deviation.
